This was a great Field Day hosted by the River City Amateur Radio Communications Society (RC ARCS) and the Western Placer Amateur Radio Club (WPARC). The event was held at Madera Park in Citrus Heights. It was hot! (Saturday afternoon, it got up to 103 °F.) I got the opportunity to observe diverse operating and mode techniques. There were a lot of folks attending and the Scouts were there too. Madera Park has tall trees, shade structures and restrooms. It's a great place for a Field Day!
